SPIRIT, IN THE
As warriors: walk in the Spirit - "Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh" (Gal. 5:16)
As redeemed ones: continuing in the Spirit - "Having begun in the Spirit," etc. (Gal. 3:3)
As suppliants: praying in the Spirit - "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit" (Eph. 6:18)
As worshippers: worship God in the Spirit - "Which worship God in the Spirit" (Phil. 3:3)
As brethren: love in the Spirit - "Declared unto us your love in the Spirit" (Col. 1:8)
As united ones: access in the Spirit - "Have our access in one Spirit" (Eph. 2:18, R.V.)
As obedient ones: live in the Spirit - "If we live in the Spirit, let us," etc. (Gal. 5:25)


SERVICE, A PREPARATION FOR

SAVE, MIGHTY TO
In Hebrews 7:25
Ability - "Able to save"
Extremity - "to the uttermost"

SAVED BY GRACE, FAITH AND HOPE
Man is saved on God's part by grace (Eph. 2:8; Tit. 2:11)
On our own part by grace through faith [and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God] and hope (Eph. 2:8) - By faith in the atoning work of Christ (Rom. 5:1; 6-11); By hope of eternal life (Tit. 3:7); A good hope through grace (2 Thess. 2:16; 1 Pet. 1:3-9); "The grace of God that bringeth salvation" (Tit. 2:11)
