Lively oracles (Acts 7:38)
Lively hope (1 Pet. 1:3)
Lively enemies (Ps. 38:19)

A thing may be living and yet not lively, but a thing cannot be lively unless it be living. Let us be "lively stones," resting upon "lively oracles," sustained by a "lively hope," putting to fight our  "lively enemies."
"Whatsoever things are true...think on these things"

"What knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband" (1 Cor. 7:16)
"That I may win Him [Christ]" (Phil. 3:8) - Win Him in a twofold sense: Win Him as a Savior, not by my merit, but by my need; Win Him as a "Prize of God's high calling" (Phil. 3:14)
